Grant Requirements

RMHC will not fund the same applicant within 36 months of the last RMHC funding. For example, if Grant was awarded in 2Q2005 cycle, next possible application is in 3Q2008 cycle.

Quarterly Grant Application Deadlines:

• January 2, 2008
• April 2, 2008
• July 2, 2008
• September 24, 2008
  

Grant applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date.

Maximum Grant

$20,000 is the maximum total grant request that will be considered.

The average grant awarded in 2006 was $8,295.

RMHC funds programs that:

• Directly benefit children
• Demonstrate consistent, effective management
• Contain clear goals and objectives
• Exhibit broad base of funding support
• Illustrate ability to respond to needs of specific groups of children in a manner that yields measurable results

RMHC does NOT fund:

• Advertising or Fundraising Drives
• Partisan, political or denominational programs
• General and administrative costs
• Intermediate funding agencies
• Endowment or capital campaigns or “bricks and mortar” projects
• Salaries, travel expenses, vehicles, scholarships, sponsorships, or incentive programs
• Requests not made in writing
• Uniforms for extra-curricular activities
